After winning MassChallenge, Boston-based TellusLabs was looking for a way to drive both national and industry-wide attention with closing a $3M seed round. However, without a customer to publicly name at launch, and battling larger incumbents such as Orbital Insight and Descartes Labs in the geospatial analytics and machine learning space, it was facing an uphill battle for mindshare.
